This is my blog to talk about, lust over, get inspired by, bitch about everything involving fashion. Sometimes I will just post pictures that make me happy or inspire me. Love it.

More shoes that should have never been created
I guess today is my day to bitch about ugly shoes or something so here we go again...
Anyway, here are the reasons I hate the brand Melissa and am currently mad at Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood for each collaborating on designs for this horrid line. Plastic shoes = tacky. I thought this went without saying but apparently not.
These shoes made from MELFLEX plastic "a patented, hypo-allergenic, recyclable, and extremely flexible PVC. These shoes are totally cruelty free and devoid of animal products. The Brazilian-based company is totally rad in its recycling of 99.9% of factory water and waste, and they also go the distance by recycling overstock styles into next season’s collection."
So apparently that must mean they are awesome right?!? NO!!!!!! PVC?? Are you serious? PVC is a toxic substance full of dangerous chemical compounds which when heated can't be good for your feet. Think about the production of these shoes...when heated and melted give off dangerous fumes. Can't be safe for the workers, either.
These shoes are fugly and they look cheap!!! JUST SAY NO!

Dr. Martens just needs to quit
For their 50th anniversary Dr. Martens has come out with a bunch of hideous styles that echo some of their older models (think 1990's.) I don't know what they are thinking with these, but they are absolutely atrocious. If I catch anyone of my friends wearing these they are getting slapped. Friends don't let friends wear ugly shoes.

Sam Edelman....desires I can't afford.
I wish more than anything I could afford these. They would seriously go with everything. Notice my fetish for pyramid studded things yet? Oh Sam Edelman, why must you do this to me??

And the shoe that everyone in the fashion world is flipping out about. Took a moment to grow on me, but have come to the conclusion that they are pretty damn rad.

oxfords!
I never thought there would be a day when I would find myself sitting at my computer for hours searching for the perfect pair of oxford/saddle shoes, but here we are. I keep seeing them everywhere lately and they are seriously growing on me. They would go with everything! I've narrowed it down to the following:
Steve Madden
Steve Madden (same as above, different color)
BDG (for Urban Outfitters)
Vans
